Your new role and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Support manager in handling all variations of absences such as administering maternity, short- and long-term absence management, AWOL and carrying out RTW meetings
Analyse trends in absence and raise these with the relevant manager
Effectively schedule annual leave and ensuring that adequate cover is prepared in advance Monitor employee absences and increase vacancies to accommodate the potential rise in short-term absences.
Provide support to managers, upskilling them on effective absence management and ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered.
Working with central L&D team, analyse and plan training needs relevant for the home and ensure that colleagues in the are upskilled on a regular basis.
Actively participate in recruitment activities, ensuring that candidates have a positive experience during the recruitment/selection process and provide a welcoming onboarding experience.
Ensure that compliance documents are accurate and stored correctly.
Point of contact for all people related queries; proactively inquire about people's issues/concerns and escalate to managers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have previous experience working in an HR function. An entry level HR qualification would be desirable but not essential. Candidates working towards their CIPD level 3 will be considered.
