Develop winning bids and proposals (i.e. EHS compliance, due diligence, management systems, Environmental permitting etc.)
Work within a specialist EHS team to ensure that client expectations are met and that project objectives are achieved within the desired timescale and budget
Accountable for the implementation of successful project management plans. Monitoring progress against these and ensuring effective communication with the project team and clients
Understand clients’ needs and build sustainable relationships in order to meet our business development goals
Lead, coordinate and/or participate in detailed corporate EHS compliance audits. Compiling audit reports using varied reporting formats often within demanding reporting timescales
Deliver challenging EHS due diligence assignments (Desk Studies, Phase I Assessments, EHS Site Assessments etc.) and preparing commercially focused succinct reports
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and team by evaluating project successes and challenges and sharing lessons learned to enhance performance within the business
Whilst the post will be based in Dublin, other locations would be considered for the right candidate. The role may involve work across the UK.
A great deal of our work involves international projects and clients, therefore the opportunity to travel abroad exists. The role also requires excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, particularly with regards to managing multinational projects and teams.
Minimum Requirements
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or demonstrate an equivalent EHS qualification
Knowledge of EHS legislation, guidance and standards
Ability to engage in EHS discussions in a professional, sensitive and non-conflicting manner
Demonstrate a working knowledge of EHS inspection, auditing, assessment and reporting
Ability to work independently and prepare high quality professional proposals/bids/reports for senior peer review
Effective technical Project Manager
Excellent observational and communication skills (specifically listening) with the ability to quickly build professional relationships
Motivated individual with the ability to work independently or as part of team, with the initiative to complete tasks
A background in Industry is advantageous
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A post-graduate qualification is desirable NEBOSH General Certificate or Diploma (or similar) in health and safety. Appropriate industry experience may be substituted for, or supplement, formal health and safety qualifications Member of a relevant technical professional body, e.g. IOSH, IEMA etc.
