High-volume ER case management, providing clear and concise advice to line managers, including the preparation of case documentation and ensuring procedural timescales are adhered to, for a full breadth of ER related issues, including discipline, grievance, performance, absence, and change management
Take full ownership of ill health capability / long term sick procedures within the business area
Work closely with line-managers and department heads, within a business area to ensure a consistent approach to people management
To support the HR Director / HR Manager in reviewing and implementing new HR Policies & Procedures, in line with changes to relevant employment legislation, coach and support line-managers to ensure these are embedded across the business
Collate HR data and produce reports / HR management information for the HR Manager to use in strategically developing the HR function
Support the HR Director / HR Manager in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects across the business
Support in coaching and developing the HR administration team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience at an Advisory level, preferably in an ER focused role Currently holds or is working towards a level-5 CIPD qualification Previous HR experience is desirable Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Strong IT and report collation skills A proactive approach, with the ability to work on own initiative A pragmatic decision-maker
