Converting meter read data into a standardized format to upload into the billing system
Creating estimated meter read data where required
Generating batches of invoices, analyzing the costs against previous periods, and looking for and reviewing anomalies
Generating customer reminders in the billing system
General administration of the billing system; setting up new sites, customers, contracts etc.
Liaising with the onboarding and account management team to onboard new sites into the system and team
Managing and monitoring the daily flow of work within the team and working with the customer success lead in collaboration
Yearly administration of the billing system, such as setting up new tariffs
Generation of monthly reporting to clients on sign up rates and debt
Conducting monthly quality checks of data within the billing system
Processing of back office tasks for the customer service team e.g., processing move in/outs

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You will have demonstrable utility experience. You can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of utility billing processes. Candidates must be an advanced user in excel (e.g. ability to use vlookups, IF functions along with basic formulas). Candidates must have an analytical eye to be able to spot errors/trends in data. You can challenge the status quo and process and provide potential solutions. Strong IT and numerical skills. An excellent attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an exception work ethic. A team player. You can take the initiative, be creative and challenge the norm. You have a clear, professional and informative communication style. Familiar with billing across multi-utility (e.g. gas, electricity, water or heat). You are familiar with our CRM systems (Salesforce). You are familiar with our billing system (Skybill). You are familiar with Optima. You are familiar with Zendesk.
