Job Responsibilities:
You will need to be from a consultancy or organisation with a proven ability to successfully manage cost management commissions from cradle to grave. Duties will include:
Lead and motivate a Cost Management team delivering multiple commissions and be responsible for outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
Ensures commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
Develops strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team, building a strong team spirit and work ethic
Actively contribute to work-winning activities
Be the primary interface with AECOM clients on your commissions.
Be accountable for achieving internal targets, KPIs and the like.
Provide effective support and mentoring to Senior Cost Managers, Cost Managers, Graduates and Apprentices.
Manage the delivery of cost management team
Provide full Cost Management duties to AECOM clients.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management. Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution. Proven experience in a similar consultancy providing the full spectrum of CM services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution (Preferably in the North West region). Demonstrable experience in at least two of the following sectors – Commercial Offices, Residential, Mixed Use, Education, Healthcare, and Industrial Passionate about delivering high quality consulting services to our clients.
