Administrative and accounts support to the Director
Maintain the sales ledger, ensuring customer records are up to date, raising weekly sales invoices and credit control
Maintain the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier records are up to date. Invoices are authorised and reconciliation of monthly supplier statements
Petty cash and credit card reconciliation
Dealing with the general public
Scheduling fittings and work for the team using the in house software
Answering telephone queries and managing the accounts/sales inbox
Other adhoc duties that may arise in a busy finance department
Serving customers on the shop floor

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience of working in a similar role. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational skills. Good at working under pressure and to tight deadlines. Experience using QuickBooks accounts would be an advantage. Be used to maintaining very high standards with an eye to constantly improving procedures. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate finance function within the group, It is essential that you will be able to hit the ground running, be extremely accurate and will take ownership for all your daily duties.
