Duties include providing support to the Director and Assistant Manager and assisting in daily office needs and supporting the company’s general Accountancy activities. Main activities consist of
Adhere to policies and procedures
Administration support to the team, when required
Answer, direct and make telephone calls with clients
Compliance with new MTD (Making Tax Digital) regulations
Compliance with GDPR regulations
Client document requests, postal and digital
Develop and maintain a filing system
Solely responsible for maintaining your client list allocated by the Director
Preparation of Limited Company Accounts
Data entry on Sage
Processing of Limited Company records including;
Accruals/Prepayments
Asset Registers
Bank Reconciliation
Depreciation
Prepayments
Journals
Payroll Journals
Management Reports
Assist Management with Compliance Assessments from HMRC
The use of manual and electronic diaries
The use of Anti Money Laundering Software
Tracking of client documents
Upkeep of electronic and paper client records
Use of CRM systems
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Word
Write and distribute emails, letters and forms to clients and HMRC
Additional Duties as and when required.
Preparation of Sole Trader records
Data entry recording client documents via a Cash Book system
Extract relevant information from client, bank statements, receipts and invoices from physical and digital sources
Preparation of Vat records
Data entry on Sage
Extract relevant information from client, bank statements, receipts and invoices from physical and digital sources

Sage 50 Level 2 minimum. Previous experience working within a similar environment. Confident. Exceptional Telephone manner. English GCSE Level C or preferably above. Excellent Organizational Skills. Computer Literate. Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Word. Team Player. Desirable – Full training will be provided although the below would be an advantage Previous office experience. Cash flow. Sage Level 2. QuickBooks. Zero. Driving license.
