Job Description

We are hiring a Head of Cost Reporting to focus on setting the strategic direction of cost reporting and analysis, delivering standardized cost reporting, improved forecasting and planning, tooling and automation.

Overseeing the Cost Operations, Planning and Analysis teams in F&AO, and working collaboratively with the Strategic Cost teams in Group Finance and Group Performance, you will act as a figurehead and expert in relation to cost reporting, analysis and forecasting.

  • Developing and implementing changes to cost Centre manager accountability in managing, reporting, forecasting and allocating cost Centre spend.
  • Developing an improved cost reporting and forecasting capability with the introduction of appropriate tools to enable self-service cost management.
  • Leading the engagement and acting as SME to Group HO, IT & Digital functional heads in day-to-day cost management matters, and meeting cost targets and challenges.
  • Finance lead in developing and implementing cost management automation initiatives, and be central to defining and enabling the review, rationalization and centralization of cost management and reporting activities across the group to add value and drive business performance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
ACCA / CIMA Qualified Accountant with PQE in a management accounting environment, or equivalent experience. Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and the management of complex cost and cost allocation structures. Experience of embedding cost forecasting, reporting and analytics tools. Experience of cost allocation processes, including the calculation models and reporting to stakeholders with a vested interest. Experience of supporting cost optimization activities. Ability to lead and develop teams to offer excellent stakeholder engagement deliver high quality and timely outcomes.
