A growing firm of accountants and tax advisers, supporting international businesses expanding to the UK. We are a small friendly team with modern offices in North London.

What can you expect?

As an experienced and enthusiastic part qualified/qualified accountant or bookkeeper you will work closely with the practice director and operations personnel with handling day-to-day bookkeeping, management accounts production . You will be able to prepare year end accounts and carry out reconciliations.

The position can be full time or part time and there is also the possibility for remote working, although you will be mostly office based in North London. The working hours are flexible and would also suit someone working around school hours.

Job description

• Posting transactions to Quickbooksonline (experience in QB is a strong advantage)
• Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
• Match payments receipts with invoices
• Reconcile bank accounts and control accounts
• Report financial results on a regular basis to management
• Enter employee expenses and tally and enter payments
• Prepare and manage monthly payroll and HR functions
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns manually or via Quickbookssoftware and file online
• Knowledge of VAT and ideally also cross border VAT is preferred
