We have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our highly successful team on a fixed term basis. The successful candidate will support our Exec Team and our Department Heads with all things cost related so will need to have some experience of liaising with senior management as well as proven costs management experience. We also need you to be extremely Excel savvy so you can deliver monthly reports and forecasting.

• Cost Management, acting as a Cost Finance Business Partner across the UK lending business including oversight of headcount, forecasting and reporting
• Reporting of Financial Performance, including month-end process for cost, preparation of papers for committees and presenting reports to senior management
• Support the Financial teams in Europe and Australia, ensuring information is provided timely and in the prescribed format if applicable
• Assist in the management capacity planning, working with business leads to determine the optimum capacity requirement for the business and timing/allocation
• Build, review and challenge business cases to support new investment
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and update as appropriate
• Actively seek out opportunities for both system and process developments resulting in improved financial controls and performance and / or efficiencies

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Cost Management experience. Experience of financial modelling and forecasting. Excel modelling experience. Ability to manage their own workload, is proactive and can challenge when needed. Experience of banking/ building society/ lending company (preferable). Degree Qualified. Qualified Accountant.
