My client is an Accountancy practice based in East London. They were established couple of years ago and since have grown consistently year on year. They are the industry leaders in the field of Cryptocurrency, Blockchain & Gaming providing financial advisory and accounting. The company provides services to individuals & companies internationally, from start-up to established.

They are now looking to hire a bookkeeper part time on an ongoing temporary basis. This will be an initial temporary assignment for 6 months. The role will be based in their offices in London.

Bookkeeper Part Time, East London

Roles and Duties

• Posting invoices

• Posting expense reports

• Issuing sales invoices

• Bank Reconciliations (multiple bank accounts, difference currencies)

• Reconciling FX transactions between accounts

• Posting payroll

• VAT returns

• Basic management accounts / profit and loss monthly

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate MUST be immediately available and can interview / start at short notice.

• The person would need to have very good attention to detail

• a lot of our transactions are between our own different bank accounts including different currencies.

• A fair few they'd need to investigate who the payment is from or why it was made

• The management accounts are basically just the profit and loss for the month

• And they need to be very confidential

• Ideally AAT qualified

• Accountancy firm experience

• Knowledge of Xero

They must also have 3-5 years working knowledge of the roles and duties above.

What's on Offer

The successful candidate will be paid between £13-15 per hour depending on experience.
