5-8 years of demonstrated experience engineering and developing various IT hardware and software solutions, analysing systems and requirements, experimenting and testing, performing vulnerability and security assessments, and developing and integrating complex IT solutions
Good communication skills; shows tact, effective listening skills, follow through, is detail-oriented and organised.
Ability to flex beyond normal duty hours to support a dynamic customer and worldwide operations when needed
IT systems supported includes Debian/Ubuntu/Alpine and Windows servers, clients and various commercial of-the-shelf applications
Linux+ certification required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, networking fundamentals Knowledge and experience in working with iptables firewalls and routing Knowledge and experience in streaming technologies such as RTMP, RTSP, WebRTC Bash scripting and/or automation experience + another scripting language (preferable python) Google cloud, AWS or Azure experience Experience working / setting up common servers (nginx / haproxy / apache / docker / consul) Teamwork - experience with working remotely.
