Job Description

Reporting in directly to the Acting CFO, you will be working on various projects within Capital and Housing including leading on HRA.

• Dealing with all VAT implications in respect of payments made and income received
• Coordinating the Council's capital budgets and programme, including financing and all associated balance sheets and asset management
• Assistance with various strategies, including the Medium-Term Financial Strategy
• Responsible for the accurate completion of relevant government returns required from Finance

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified accountant (CIPFA/CIMA/ACCA/ACA). Have the gravitas and communication skills to manage a finance team. Experience within Local Government Accounts. Be immediately available.
