My client, who are a long standing, incredibly successful market leading manufacturing company have an exciting role available for a Cost Accountant/Analyst.

The company is going from strength to strength, they have a new product range and plenty of projects for the successful candidate to get stuck into.

Working closely with the Head of Finance, some of the duties and responsibilities will include:

• Drive savings and add value to the business supporting the company's continuous improvement strategy.
• Take the lead of high profile projects

• The management and control of costs, identifying opportunities for improvement

• New product costing and annual budget preparation, implementation of site targets and overhead management

• Analysis and management of cost Centre performance

• Assisting Project Management teams, applying accurate costing data to validate decision making

• Proactively managing financial awareness in various teams to ensure departmental maintenance of stringent financial controls
