Job Description
- Preparation of accounts for a wide range of companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Support the delivery of audit assignments.
- Supervise, delegate and review work to appropriate team members.
- Manage a portfolio of clients.
- Deliver information to the client in a timely manner and within budget.
- Manage client communication in an effective manner.
- Identify where there are shortfalls of work to cover chargeability and alert Managers.
- Communicate to management progress on workload and plan for efficient completion.
- Corporation tax computations and returns for small accounts clients.
- Personal tax returns for small clients.
Leadership, management and engagement.
- For any staff working on your projects, motivate staff to ensure they are engaged, driven and ‘go the extra mile’.
- Supervise, coach and develop junior members of staff within teams, on client premises and in the office.
- Work with managers and L&D to ensure your training needs and, where appropriate the training needs of others are identified and met.
- Ensure lines of communication within the organization are open are always transparent.
- Develop a professional and supportive approach to your fellow colleagues.
- Throughout your time with the firm, live our values in everything you do.
- You will be expected to ensure that all key deadlines are always met.
- Report to management on all assignments as required.
