Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Management Accountant who is looking to further their career by joining our company who specialize in supplying medical gas to the NHS and other Healthcare Providers.

Based out of our depot in Flint and reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be heavily involved in the completion of month end journals and maintaining the fixed asset register.

Key Responsibilities

• Completion of month end journals including accruals and prepayments.
• Maintain fixed asset register, including monthly processes and reconciliation.
• Be responsible for key customer billing information being sent for invoicing in line with timetable.
• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly.
• Intercompany reconciliations and recharges.
• To assist in monthly Management Accounts to strict deadlines.
• To prepare reports on Management Information as required.
• To assist with the annual budget setting process.
• To assist in the year end statutory accounts workings.
• Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc analysis requests from stakeholders.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Management Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)

License:

• Part or Full CIMA / ACCA (Required)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or ACA and able to demonstrate experience at a similar level. Ability to work under pressure, especially around month end. Strong organizational skills. Able to demonstrate numeracy, literacy and advanced excel skills Able to demonstrate effective communication with colleagues at all levels. Able to escalate problems effectively. Work well in a team. Experience in SAGE 50 preferred though not essential. Prepared to work flexibly to accommodate monthly timescales.
