Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-performing Company Accountant Assistant to join the team. We are looking for a Company Accountant Assistant to help us meet our client acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. To work with the Company Accountant to prepare financial statements and oversee our budgeting and forecasting. We will rely on you to provide advice in conjunction with the Company Accountant to support our company’s decision-making.

You should be reliable and be able to communicate effectively with senior management and various departments. We also want you to be detail-orientated and possess sharp business acumen.

· Gather financial data and ledgers

· Consolidate and analyze financial statements and results

· Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures

· Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

· Manage periodical reporting

· Oversee external and internal financial audits

· Analyze finances to determine risks and create forecasts

· Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

· Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

· Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures

· Reconciling financial discrepancies

· Secure financial information by completing regular database backups and cyber security training

· Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements

· Compliance with all financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising senior management on needed actions

· Maintain client confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential

· Manage Accounts Manager and Accounts Assistants and assist them by coordinating their activities and answering questions

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Proven experience in practice and industry/corporate accounts · Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices · In-depth experience in risk-analysis, budgeting, and forecasting · Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and finance software · An analytical mind with problem solving aptitude · Excellent communication skills · Keen eye for detail · Organizational and leadership skills. ACCA qualified.
