Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Delivering exceptional customer service by building strong, effective, proactive relationships with customers and colleagues up to and including Executive stakeholders
- Consulting with business area leaders and managers to develop a thorough understanding of operations and people related issues, and using this insight to inform organisation design, resource and talent planning and other people related initiatives and change programmes
- Work with business area leaders to deliver people related initiatives and change programmes, drawing on the expertise and support of wider HR team where required
- Providing expert advice on a full range of people related queries and issues, identifying and escalating risks or concerns where required and coaching the HR Advisors and rest of the HR Team where appropriate with more complex issues.
- Coaching and empowering business area leaders and managers to perform their people related responsibilities more effectively
- Providing the HR Leadership team with operational or project support across all HR disciplines to ensure that initiatives are reviewed from the employee and manager perspective and are implemented in the most impactful way and in line with HR Strategy and operational plans
- Operating as a HR thought leader; bringing new thinking, suggesting new or improved ways of working, and keeping up to date with and applying best practice
- Involvement with cyclical activities including performance review activity, salary and bonus review, talent management reviews etc

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Recent demonstrable experience of partnering with Sales and Marketing business areas - Good breadth and depth of HR and employment law knowledge with experience of handling complex ER issues - Experience of working with Commission and Sales Incentive plans, ideally with input into design - Deep knowledge of redundancy and acquisition and/or integration activities (including TUPE transfer) - Ability to apply sound judgement and expertise in complex, ambiguous and/or unusual situations - Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with ability to build and maintain strong trusting relationships at all levels - Good coaching skills - stakeholders as well as other members of the HR Team - Experience of working in a large corporate, or global, business and ideally in a matrix environment, ability to work in a stand-alone role and confidence to engage with other members of the HR Team from across the global organisation - Workday experience (Ideally) - Experience of working in the finance sector and/or a regulated organisation (ideally) - European HR experience (ideally)
