Our client is an established firm of Chartered Surveyors. We require an experienced bookkeeper in our property management department.
· Entering rent payments onto property management system
· Processing payment runs, maintaining accurate records of authorisation and processing
· Using the system to undertake reconciliation of the bank accounts and client accounts
· Monitoring the purchase ledger, entering suppliers’ invoices, ensuring they are properly authorised, preparing payment authorisation documents for bank transfers and occasional cheques
· Drafting client statements for the Senior Property Manager
· Dealing with email and telephone queries
· Must have bookkeeping experience
· Previous experience of working within the property sector would be beneficial
· Good IT skills especially Excel
· Training will be given on our bespoke system
· Willingness to be part of a team and to cover where necessary for colleagues
· Able to work with discretion
· Self-motivated and good at prioritising
