Specialist Accountancy practice recruitment consultancy Clark Wood are working with a distinguished and esteemed independent firm of accountants in Swansea who are keen to add an ambitious Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate will have varied general practice experience, including experience of assisting on Audit assignments on a variety of clients, and will hold either the AAT qualification or may have begun studying towards the ACA / ACCA qualifications.

As an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior your role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work and you will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of industry sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returns
• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnerships
• Assist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectives
• Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
