Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director to help take the business to the next level by taking the reins on social media management and other marketing ad hoc.

Day to Day Duties

Socials

· Managing multiple social media accounts

· Creating content to share across social media

· Develop low-cost, high-impact social media initiatives that help build audience, promote the firm and drive engagement, as well as paid social campaigns when needed

· Up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.

· Analysis and reporting on activities across all platforms, including use of statistical analysis tools (Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics etc.

· Knowledgeable on MailChimp

Website and Content Management

· Ensure website content is being proof-read and updated regularly through WordPress

· Ensure all online content is produced from an SEO perspective. Ongoing use of SEO best practices to increase organic traffic, to increase the company’s exposure to potential customers

· Create blog articles on an ongoing basis with the goal of converting visitors into leads and then pushing leads down the marketing and sales funnel

Design Element

· Create compelling visuals and creative materials to assist with brand awareness for both sales and marketing purposes

· Create digital marketing collateral - web pages, email newsletters and more

· Create printed marketing collateral – such as posters, brochures, Pull-up banners

· Creation and coordination of company marketing materials including the creative, design, production, researching and organizing quotes.

Digital Marketing

· Setting up and maintaining Google AdWords accounts

· Monitoring Google Analytics

· Keyword research

· Optimizing websites using SEO techniques such as:

  • Blog writing
  • Research to support SEO campaigns
  • Reviewing on-site optimization

· Email marketing, design and implementation, proofread for clarity, grammar and spelling

· Analysis and reporting on newsletter/blog update activities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You’ll have an innate understanding of how design can shape and define brand identity and use innovative and beautifully designed visuals to drive the brand forward · Vision: Someone who wants to invest time into growing the brand, developing marketing skills and being part of something bigger · Adaptable: Willing to change tasks dependent on the needs of the business · Passion: A passion for branding, communication and design · Team mentality: You’ll be a team player · 3+ year’s experience in e-commerce and design · Excellent working knowledge Canva, Wordpress and Mailchimp email platform · Excellent attention to detail · Hands on experience designing and creating print and digital brochures · Strong writing and communication skills (including copywriting) · Be both creative and analytical · Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks · The ability to work efficiently across cross-functional teams · Thrives working in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment · Full drivers license
