Job Description

The firm is seeking a qualified ACA / ACCA Audit & Accounts Senior to join the team, in a role with progression and career development potential. You will be responsible for leading audits for owner-managed businesses and other varied clients. Alongside this you will have opportunity to involve yourself in accounts preparation for the firms non audit client base

Planning, leading and completing annual client audits.

Prepare annual and management accounts ensuring details are accurate.

Complete corporate tax returns for clients.

Plan and prioritise work according to client and partner needs/deadlines and instructions.

Advise and coach junior members of the team concerning work to be completed.

This role will be split 60% audit & 40% accounts.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Minimum three years UK PQE to include audit planning & completion. General practice experience in the UK. Supervisory experience to deal with work scheduling. Ability to deal with a portfolio of clients. Tax working knowledge of VAT corporation tax and personal tax. Be an ACA or ACCA and with a strong academic background. Demonstrate strong exposure to audit. Have very good accounts finalisation experience for self-employed LLPs & companies. Be thoroughly experienced in accounts and tax software, ideally IRIS, Quick Books & XERO.
