Well established and expanding Birmingham based business with a growing Finance team.
Description
Working as the Sales Ledger & Cash Accountant you will be responsible for the following:
Working to a 24 hour deadline to allocate all cash received, identifying the source of the funds and posting the correct amounts to Navision.
Weekly reconciliation of multiple bank accounts, investigation and resolving any discrepancies identified.
Responsible for maintaining daily records of all cash received
Update the cash flow forecast with actual bank transactions daily and assist in the improvement of cash flow forecasting
Full control of the sales ledger process, raising invoices as appropriate and escalating any overdue amounts.
Producing weekly reports to include cash and sales ledger.
Profile
The successful Sales Ledger & Cash Accountant, will have worked in a similar capacity previously and covered all elements of the role. Advantageous if the candidate is from a Hospitality/Retail background. Navision system experience also advantageous
