As a HR Operations Manager, you will be an integral part of the business. You will be tasked with building and maintaining an environment in which people can do their best work. You will be the go to person, for all thing HR and talent, and as you will be the very first 'people' hire. You will be instrumental in shaping the company culture, introducing process and procedure and making our client a place where everyone wants to work! As this is a Series A start-up, you must have experience in a people focussed role, in a high growth start-up in order to be considered for the role.
Key responsibilities
In this Human Resources Manager role in London, your responsibilities will include:
Leading and taking ownership of internal recruitment requirements - helping to establish a separate internal recruitment ream when the time is right
Onboarding all new starters, from sending out offer letters to ensuring they have all they need for their first day
Being present and acting as a point of support for probation reviews
Supporting Senior Management with documentation for promotions and disciplinaries
Helping to establish a values system and ingrain what 'best practice' looks like
Start to create the perfect employee experience so that people want to stay and progress - think growth frameworks, continuous feedback, regular training
Constantly be looking to refine the processes and be the ultimate people champion!

A background in People Operations at a start-up OR scaleup A track record in helping to build People/HR teams from very early stages Ideally experience managing a small team - you're a confident delegator Excel whiz - you know your V Look Ups and Pivot tables - perfect for when you need to strategise and crunch numbers!
