Job Description

Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager, the Group Accountant will have key responsibilities including:

• Oversight of Month End/Management Accounts
• Preparation of Year End Reports, Reviewing UK Entity Accounts and deliver Ad Hoc Reporting
• Advisory/Business Partnering - provide support on accounting queries, partnering with local finance team to deliver accounting advisory.
• Delivery of group transition to new IFRS accounting standards.
• Mentoring: oversight of 1 Assistant Group Accountant
• Maintain current knowledge of IFRS and the Group's other statutory reporting requirements
• Liaise and assist with external audit
• Ad hoc projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified ACA or ACCA (Audit/Technical Accounting Background) Multinational/Listed business if in industry OR Multinational/Listed clients if practice Background in Consolidation & Group reporting Strong technical background in IFRS & USGAAP (Lease Accounting in particular) Proven ability to perform under pressure and work to tight deadlines. Able to commute to Central London (1 day per week max. As/when offices reopen)
