As a Quality Manager you will implement, support, maintain and develop the Port’s management systems through collaboration to deliver operational excellence and improved service quality at the Port of Milford Haven.
· Develop and implement a phased strategy to deliver operational excellence and improved service quality through management system development
with Operational team
with Marine team
with wider Port team
· Develop existing Port Management systems to gain ISO certification in a phased approach
ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System
ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System
ISO 9001 – Quality Management System
Other
· Lead cross functional teams to support Port areas with problem resolution as they transition through the ISO certification process
· Through the develop of Management Systems ensure the Port has effective processes and controls in place and follows a path of continuous improvement through PLAN-DO-CHECK-ACT
· Collaborate with Port areas deploying lean tools to bring about sustainable quality and process improvements
· Develop members of the Port team to ensure appropriate level of skills and knowledge exists to support compliance with and continuous improvement in management systems
· Maintain management system certification and continuously improve the Port’s Management Systems
· Generate visual business metrics to enable reporting to the business to confirm compliance with, Management Systems, improvement of Management Systems, and improvement in service quality our stakeholders receive
