To support the Head of HR in delivering the HR agenda through an effective operational HR service and ensure its integration into the HR business planning process
To develop cohesive employee relations and assist with more complex/sensitive day to day people issues
To deliver an effective, commercial ER case management service, risk assessing complex and sensitive people issues and supporting pragmatic commercial resolution
To contribute to raising the capabilities of managers and staff through informal coaching and participating in delivering formal training and development programmes.
To assist and support managers through all stages of HR procedures, such as sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, etc including participating in investigations, preparing investigation reports, attending hearings to support the presenting manager, and taking notes at hearings as appropriate
