Job Description

• To advise and work in collaboration with the Chief Executive and the rest of the board in setting the strategic direction and strategic priorities for the organisation
• To lead on financial systems, management and strategy, for people, processes and systems and to provide the Chief Executive and budget holders with relevant and timely financial information to support delivery of core objectives.
• Lead digital transformation and implementation of the digital strategy which includes improving the digital experience for their different stakeholders
• To create a project management office, which support all approved change projects/programmes, focusing on agile working to deliver successful projects on time and to budget that add value.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a CCAB or equivalent qualified accountant with a proven track record of achievement, with the ability to drive and manage a diverse workforce. The ideal candidate will have worked ideally in the regulatory, government or other similar industries, with experience managing a number of functions including Finance and IT. It is also important they previously held a senior management position with regular exposure to the Executive Team.
