The Role

Are you a newly qualified Financial Accountant looking to take a step into a fast-paced and driven Finance Team? We’re are looking for a Financial Accountant to play a key role in the preparation of our statutory accounts, whilst gaining exposure to the work of our wider finance function.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll prepare annual statutory accounts, service charge statements, and support our Financial Accounts team to prepare month-end reports. You’ll gain exposure to our group and mutual company accounts, producing property completion statements and liaising with our external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure robust and compliant financial reporting.

You’ll be working in a busy team where priorities can change quickly according to business needs, with the support of your team you’ll be delivering to quick turnaround deadlines effectively.

Our ideal candidate? You’ll be a passed finalist or a newly qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA), wanting to put your learning and previous experience into practice within an ambitious team. You’ll be able to work under pressure, using a methodical approach to problem solve and challenge ways of working, using your excellent attention to details. Being goal driven and focussed on achieving successful outcomes is a key behaviour to bring to this role, with the ability to adapt and be flexible to changing priorities.

You’ll be joining a small, supportive and welcoming team, where a background within the housing sector isn’t a must as we’re keen to develop the right person with a solid accounting background.
