Job Description

The successful Financial Controller based in London will have the following responsibilities:

- Business partnering with the investment teams

- Performance and risk analysis, highlighting areas of concern and implementing processes to combat such risk

- Responsible for the end to end month end processes

- Lead the financial reporting effort, reviewing work from junior members and implementing a high degree of accuracy

- Mentor and coach junior members of the team

- Forming and managing important business relationships with 3rd party suppliers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with 5+ years PQE - A background of working in a financial control role at an financial services / listed business - Strong exposure to solving complex accounting issues and being able to sell solutions internally - Demonstrable examples of being able to manage and mentor effectively
