Job Description

• Running the finance system across the different international entities with analysis from accurate and up-to-date monthly, quarterly and annual data.
• Ensuring that deadlines are submitted on time and to a high-quality standard.
• Presenting to the board and stakeholders regularly on planning and budgets.
• Manage and guiding the finance team to produce a seamless finance function, supported with appraisals, reviews and training to encourage the team to work at their best.
• Ensuring that processes and procedures are at their most effective and implemented correctly; being in line with the auditing requirements.
• Being instrumental in developing and instigating the global finance strategy for the Multi-Academy Trust, with sustainability being the focus throughout.
• Ensuring the key stakeholders are presented with accurate and relevant financial reports on a regular basis, in a clear and concise manner.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To be the Head of Finance you will need to be passionate and driven, believing in the mission of the movement that this organisation is striving for. Alongside having previously worked with international entities, you must be a qualified accountant with multiple years of working in education specifically.
