Job Description

• Routine periodic, quarterly and annual reporting requirements and additional Group reporting as requested
• Assisting with cashflow management, monitoring and reporting
• Supporting implementation and testing of new ERP and reporting systems
• Ad hoc projects and data analysis and manipulation as required in support of team objectives
• Driving the Financial Reporting process across various standards to ensure all reporting requirements are met in a timely, accurate manner
• Engage extensively with external auditors
• Liaising with other Finance colleagues
• Supporting the production of the Statutory Accounts, including extensive liaison with external audit
• Assisting in enforcing the financial governance and controls in the business, ensuring that they are formally monitored, and exceptions are reported, that internal controls are robust, and that financial system and processes are developed accordingly
• Deputise for the Senior financial Accountant as and when required for interactions with Group Finance

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) Experienced in financial reporting Ability to create and implement practical and robust financial control and governance processed at pace Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders within large organisations Excellent Excel Skills Strong accounting knowledge and technical ability Excellent communication skills Ambitious, self-motivated character with a desire to progress and take on additional responsibility Team-working skills Autonomous & independent decision maker Energy and enthusiasm, with a desire to get the job done
