Job Description
Working as the Sales Ledger & Cash Accountant you will be responsible for the following:
- Working to a 24 hour deadline to allocate all cash received, identifying the source of the funds and posting the correct amounts to Navision.
- Weekly reconciliation of multiple bank accounts, investigation and resolving any discrepancies identified.
- Responsible for maintaining daily records of all cash received
- Update the cash flow forecast with actual bank transactions daily and assist in the improvement of cash flow forecasting
- Full control of the sales ledger process, raising invoices as appropriate and escalating any overdue amounts.
- Producing weekly reports to include cash and sales ledger.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Sales Ledger & Cash Accountant, will have worked in a similar capacity previously and covered all elements of the role. Advantageous if the candidate is from a Hospitality/Retail background. Navision system experience also advantageous
