Job Description

The business is also focusing on developing its benefits offering - they want a payroll manager who will think creatively about delivering a value added benefits offering to aid the attraction and retention of talent within the business. Reporting directly into the Head of HR, who has been brought into the organisation to deliver a genuine people first culture, who sees this as a key role in delivering on that initiative. If you consider yourself to be expert on all things payroll and have a genuine appetite for change then this is the role for you.

You will be onboarded remotely if Peterborough remains within Tier 4 - the Head of HR has recently joined the organisation remotely so will be hugely supportive during this period. There is flexibility on how the role is delivered - both in terms of working remotely for some of the week, and potentially in the number of hours worked, or the working pattern. This is a key role within the HR team - the business needs someone who sees the payroll and benefits function as integral to the HR function and who has the desire to collaborate with their HR colleagues and support wider Initiatives and projects within the business. The role is vacant from the end of January - the ideal candidate will be available to start late Jan early Feb.
