An exciting opportunity is now available for an outgoing experienced accountant within a newly formed Company Accountant position in Construction. This business has grown from strength to strength over the years and is now a £10m+ business, with determined, enterprising owners who are now moving into the next stage of growth. This is a unique chance to join a down to earth company based in south Birmingham, where you will be an integral part of the team and the main face for all things finance.

The suitable applicant for this role will need to be an experienced accountant who has ideally worked in a similar role. As this is a newly formed accounts position, you will need to be capable of creating new processes and providing reports for the MD. Alongside this, you will also need to be confident in producing monthly management accounts, provide costings for jobs and have produced project management accounts.

This Company Accountant role is a fantastic chance to join a business on the up. They have further strengthened as a team during COVID-19 and will be looking to offer promote the successful candidate through the business.

Ideally you will:

• Be a confident and ambitious individual who enjoys liaising with stakeholders and taking the lead in bringing ideas to the table
• Have a track record of dealing with operation directors and site managers in order to produce job costings and provide reports
• Be a strong accountant who can analyse trends, produce management accounts and provide assistance and advice to key decisions being made
• Be a hard worker who is capable of working with minimal supervision, able to think outside the box and a self-starter
