Job Description

Responsibilities | HR Advisor

  • The provision of first-line advice, support and guidance to Line Managers and colleagues in all matters of Employee Relations, including disciplinary, advice, grievance, performance management, capability and absence management.
  • End to end case management of varying complexity
  • Partnering with Line Managers to ensure the timely, effective and legally compliant management of the Company's internal process.
  • Oversee the management and legal compliance on policies such as Maternity, Paternity and Flexible Working
  • Manage site restructures/closures ensuring the process is handled in a sensitive manner with the minimum disruption for affected colleagues.
  • Supporting in the development of initiatives and strategies to develop and improve company employee relations policies and processes.
  • Producing Weekly and monthly reports for the HR Manager
  • To liaise with all areas of the HR Department, ensuring projects are delivered
  • To act as a brand champion for the Company's values
  • Act as a positive role model for all colleagues, recognising the value of teamwork and positively reinforcing co-operation, mutual support and commitment from all colleagues

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in a similar role, ideally gained within a multi-site business Part Qualified CIPD with background in case management Good verbal and written communication skills Able to demonstrate a commercial approach to Employee Relations matters Strong Team Player with good Knowledge of employment legislation Ability to build trust and work remotely with line managers
