Processing payroll on a monthly basis for up to approx. 350 employees including salaried, contact and shift workers
Undertake any other duties as requested by the line manager in accordance with company requirements
Act as the main point of contact for employee queries relating to payroll and benefits
Work with external and internal contacts to ensure that a highly accurate service is provided to all employees
Maintain the payroll and benefits process, ensuring all are documented to a high standard, identifying possible improvements and making recommendations for change
Ensure core employee documentation, including pay slips/P45/P60/P11D are dealt with timely and accurately
Continually look at ways of improving payroll procedures to suit the needs of the business and make the practice more streamlined
For this full-time, permanent opportunity you will receive a highly competitive package of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits and pension.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrable experience with different payroll systems - SAGE, SD Worx etc. Exposure in the administration and management of benefits Experience of working with a shift-based business First-class IT skills - MS Office particularly Word and Excel Personal organisation - multitasker, committed to delivery, experience of working to changing deadlines / priorities Detail orientated and excellent administrative capabilities Excellent communication skills - with ability to communicate at all levels, verbally and written Professional attitude with ability process / handle confidential and sensitive information in line with data protection legislation Ability to manage own workload, using initiative.
