Responsibilities include:

- Preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet (in Sage 200)
- Variance analysis & reporting
- Preparation of the MI & KPI reporting pack
- Bank Reconciliations
- Work in Progress/Project Accounting
- Absorption cost control & reporting
- Labour utilisation analysis & reporting
- VAT returns
- Accruals & Prepayments
- Journals
- Overseeing two members of staff across purchase and sales ledger
- Ensuring letter of credit control and compliance
- EC Sales & Intrastat
- Additional duties depending the experience/level of the successful applicant

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Applicants will have broad management accounting experience and will be keen/ambitious with the desire to develop and progress. You will have excellent people/communication skills with the proven ability to forge strong business partner relationships with a diverse range of colleagues up to board level. Previous staff management responsibility and Sage 200 knowledge is preferred but not essential.
