Job Description

Your new role
As HR Assistant you will provide administrative and organisational support to the transactional services team within this large HR shared service centre. You will be involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle processing, managing and resolving tier 1 employee and Manager queries relating to policy and procedures as well as performing vetting and onboarding duties in support of the recruitment team.

What you'll get in return
An interesting 4 month contract, covering a secondment and so the chance of an extension after March 2021, very competitive hourly rate and this job is working from home, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9-5pm.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
This is a busy and fast paced environment, as your team would be supporting over 5000 employees across the different sites, and so we require applicants to have a human resources background, excellent customer service skills, and an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. You will be using an in-house database for all confidential employee records and so the ability to pick up new systems quickly is a must. You must also have experience of working with highly confidential employee data and a good working knowledge of GDPR.
