Job Description
  • The client has a department that looks after the technology for around 17 corporate departments including HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Comms, Procurement, Legal, Risk, etc.
  • As part of the client's integration with another company, most of the systems used by these departments will need work - generally migration, consolidation or elimination.
  • In advance of the integration deal close, we need an experience IT program manager who will construct a high level integrated plan for the entire portfolio of projects.
  • This will include:
  • Validation of the scope of the various projects (a minimum of 14 distinct projects/programs some of which are multi year £20m+ programs and some of which are much smaller)
  • Identification of all dependencies
  • Identification of other simultaneous technology initiatives and assessment of impact and implications
  • Assessment/incorporation of existing individual plans where they exist
  • Analysis of constraints such as resource, budget, capacity for change, etc.
  • Understanding of architectural roadmap
  • Development of high level post close plans for all the projects and documentation of the various transition states
  • Development of more detailed plans for some of the projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Deep experience of program management in financial services Experience of program management of integration projects would be helpful Experience of projects with systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Service Now, etc. would be very helpful
