Job Description

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Group Financial reporting manager on preparation of the monthly management accounts for the Directors and SLT
  • Support with the production of budgets and forecasts
  • Business partner with internal and external stakeholders to build solid relationships across the organisation
  • Lead on statutory reports and accounts
  • Be point of contact for auditors and their questions
  • Support project team with project ledger journals and preparing management information
  • Prepare detailed analysis reviewing performance and helping aid strategic decisions
  • Lead on tax including vat, corporation tax and liaise with auditors to ensure they are completed
  • Lead on insurance and claims processes and ensure the correct accounting for these
  • Promote a positive working environment and be a strong, collaborative team player

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will be: Qualified With tax and financial reporting background Open to practice/industry and non for profit candidates Self starter who is proactive Brilliant customer focus and skills Translating finance concepts to non-finance personnel Work operationally and strategically Have an open mind to improvement to create synergies
