Due to very exciting growth plans, on behalf of our prestigious and award winning Market leading FMCG Manufacturing business, are recruiting a Site Accountant to run the financial team in Birmingham

A very exciting opportunity has arisen to join and shape the a large, modern and successful plant, recently receiving huge financial capital investment.

Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Retail Operations, responsible for the company’s £50 million turnover.

The successful candidate willl be expected to present new ideas to the senior management team.

This job is initially a 6 month long position and could lead to further opportunities company wide. (Salary is Pro-rata)

Duties

Reporting. Provide regular management reporting and analysis. Co-ordinate delivery of the budgeting and forecasting process. Continually improve quality of the quantitative and qualitative information. Use of SAP system.

Analysis. In addition to regular reporting and analysis, there will be a requirement for ad hoc analysis to support projects and strategic reviews.

Controls and compliance. Ensure compliance with the Group's financial control framework across the business. Support the standardisation and implementation of financial controls within and across units. Coordinate internal control processes and ensure that all actions are cleared on time.

Coordinate forecasting. Improving both the accuracy of the data and efficiency of the process.

Ad hoc projects. Provide support with regards to finance projects

The Successful Applicant will need to be CIMA or equivalent Qualified with strong reporting experience, excellent interpersonal skills and exposure to SAP and EBIT. Knowledge of SOX would be ideal but not essential

As this is one of our clients manufacturing sites and due to the nature of this role we are looking for someone with a background in manufacturing who has experience dealing with non-finance heads on a plant/ site. You will be required to spend a lot of time liaising with the operations team, so experience of this will be an advantage.
