Key responsibilities for the Interim Financial Accountant including managing the year end process, completing their Final Accounts to IFRS standards and managing all Government returns.
This is a rewarding but hands on position and requires the successful candidate to work using their own initiative whilst supporting the Chief Accountant in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate must be a fully qualified accountant and ideally have experience of leading and managing teams within a Local Government environment. Whilst the client can be flexible in finding a balance between working in the office and working from home, there will be a requirement to be in the office and therefore, will probably need to drive. A happy medium maybe, working from home 2 days per week.
