Responsible for arranging Board and Committee meetings
Provide assistance with the preparation of Board and Committee meeting information and packs
Take minutes of Committee meetings and ensure that these are typed up, checked and circulated to the relevant parties in a timely manner
Assist with reviewing governance arrangements
Responsible for annual and adhoc reporting to Companies House
Monitor and create compliance reports
Investigate compliance risks and issues and provide feedback as necessary
Assist in the resolution of complaints, the maintaining of complaints records and complaint reporting to Lloyd`s / the Financial Ombudsman Service
Respond to queries from the business including licenses, sanctions, broker remuneration, TOBA`s etc.
General assistance in the drafting and updating of policies, procedures and guidelines
Provide support with regulatory reporting, including maintaining the business timetable and advising the business of upcoming deadlines
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideally 2-3 years` company secretarial and/or compliance experience. Some compliance, regulatory or legal knowledge. Some familiarity with governance best practices. Some knowledge of insurance, ideally in a Lloyd`s syndicate environment. Experience of taking and typing up of minutes. Experience of company secretarial duties, including preparation of meeting packs.
