Accountancy partnership opportunity

Our client is please to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an unusual but exciting opportunity. Our client is looking for potential business partners throughout the UK.

The opportunity is ideally suited to qualified accountants (ICAEW, ACCA or AAT qualified with a practicing certificate or the ability to obtain one) who either have an existing small client base or are supremely confident in their ability to grow one. You must also possess excellent client servicing skills and be a good communicator.

Our client is a successful ICAEW practice established over 20 years ago, with 7 figure turnover, three offices and an experienced team of qualified directors and managers.

They wish to recruit client managers (potential partners) to establish and run business hubs throughout the UK. This is an opportunity for a self-starter to grow their own successful business, supported by an established and successful partner.

This is a hub and spoke concept, with our client providing a centralised accountancy hub providing the “engine room” to produce the product (accounts, tax returns, bookkeeping, vat, etc.) and you providing the “regional spoke” a totally client focused service - the hub allows you to focus on the face-to-face serving of your locally based clients and business development.

Your involvement in the product (accounts, etc.) will depend upon your own skills and focus, it will be tailored to each “regional spoke partner”, sometime this will be more hands on with regional partners reviewing jobs but sometimes the hub will do this, in all cases the regional partner (you) will be responsible for final delivery to the client be that via meeting or alternative method appropriate to the clients wishes. In a nutshell it will be your role to keep the client happy and to delivery advice at a local level - the hub will be on hand to provide assistance and support as needed.

The offer... again this will depend on what you can bring to the new regional spoke. Our client envisages that each spoke will be a self contained regional business operating under a single umbrella. Along with our client, you would have a stake in that regional business and your remuneration package would initially depend on what you bring at the outset but will be flexible to provide you with increased rewards linked to growth.

Our client recognises that in the initial stages of these new regional spokes, they will need to provide financial support both to the development of the new venture and to you as a partner. It’s about backing the right partners and helping them to achieve mutual and significant success.
