Job Description

What you will do:

  • Acting as the day to day point of contact for the client on all matters relating to the Capita ER/Novus community and manage that community onsite.
  • Ensuring that all candidates attending client interviews have been suitably screened prior to interview, this includes carrying out quality assessment interviews prior to formal introduction to the client.
  • When able to, you will meet candidates on site pre- and post-interview and work in collaboration with the Line Manager during the recruitment process.
  • Working collaboratively with our on-site client management team to ensure ER/Novus activity is aligned with Capita and the accounts strategic goals.
  • Ensuring all Novus/ERs are on-boarded and inducted in line with Capita's policy to ensure they understand the role of a Capita Consultant and responsibilities associated to their role
  • Scheduling monthly reviews for new starters and on-going three, six and 12-month review meetings, gaining input from the line manager and Capita's on-site teams. Setting SMART objectives that are aligned with those of their manager and Capita. These will be mix of virtual and (when we are able to) onsite meetings.
  • Supporting the Head of Delivery and Head of Client Management to identity training needs within the ERM and Novus population. Arranging coaching, mentoring or training where there are development needs.
  • Working proactively to understand the client landscape from both project and programme level feeding into the client account plan
  • Networking regularly with line manager of the ER's/Novus to gain in-depth business knowledge
  • Seeking out client feedback and peer group feedback so that high performers and "going the extra mile" is recognised and rewarded
  • Proactively managing the assignment end dates and support the redeployment of ERs/Novus coming to the end of an assignment.
  • Liaise with internal functions including Finance and HR in order to resolve queries from the ERM and Novus community

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience of working within specialist recruitment e.g. IT or engineering - in-house, managed services or agency Ability to manage remote workers and set SMART objectives A solid understanding of general HR processes including payroll An ability to problem-solve An ability to influence to achieve agreed objectives Working with challenging client stakeholders or employees Multi-tasking with complex issues an ability to self-priorities Computer literate with outlook, excel and PowerPoint. Commercially aware with a focus on achieving agreed business plans Some project management experience would be desirable
