If all sounds good so far. Responsibilities include . . .

*Provide key metrics to leadership relative to Human Resources in support of company goals and objectives.
*Responsible for full cycle recruitment efforts for both hourly and salaried level roles within the plant to include job posting (internal & external), scheduling/conducting interviews, preparing & extending offer letters, initiating pre-employment screenings, etc.
*Oversee and conduct new hire orientation and on boarding including processing of all new hire paperwork and preparing and coordinating new hire training programs.
*Oversee benefit and leave management programs
*In compliance with data protection regulations; preparing and/or maintaining employment records related to events such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
*Point person for employee relation issues, conducting thorough and unbiased investigations with proper documentation and guiding resolutions.
*Strives towards maintaining a positive employee relations environment and culture that is considered diverse and inclusive.
*Cascade corporate driven programs (eg objective setting, appraisal and compliance training) to all layers within the organization.
*Models consistent application of policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure equitable solutions across all layers of the organization while ensuring compliance with relevant employment law.
*Partner with EH&S Manager in maintaining records and ensuring compliance with EH&S policy and procedures.
*Work closely with the Finance Manager in the administration of the monthly payroll.

 


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Essential experience required . . . *Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline required. *CIPD qualified and experience of working in a stand-alone generalist capacity. *3 to 5 years of progressive & professional experience in a Human Resources Department in a similar role. *Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred. *Excellent technical skills, MS Office, working knowledge and exposure to HRIS programs. *Demonstrable HR background as a generalist from a manufacturing, automotive or engineering environment.
