Your new role

• Build and test new wages types, working patterns and payroll reports
• Collaborate with the Business Analyst and teams from Payroll and HRSS to understand the clients specific payroll processes
• Collaborate with the teams from Payroll and HRSS to understand the clients specific payroll functionality
• Review of existing Payroll test scenarios and scripts to identify gaps
• Creation of any new payroll test scenarios to meet identified requirements
• Creation of any new payroll test scripts as appropriate for MY Time/My Pay functionality testing
• Creation of any new payroll test scripts as appropriate for MY Time/My Pay User Acceptance Testing
• Engage Payroll / HRSS teams to review all appropriate test scenarios and test scripts
• Engage Payroll / HRSS teams to review the results of all appropriate test scenarios and test scripts
• Input to all appropriate test reporting as directed by the Test Manager and Lead Payroll consultant
• Input into the debug and defect management process
• Attend all appropriate governance meetings to meet programme / project goals and milestones
• Provide support to the HR programme team to meet programme needs and goals, e.g. input to strategic plans, guidance on specific HR systems functionality

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Extensive experience in building within SAP payroll clients, including wage types, working patterns, payroll absence rules and payroll reporting Full understanding of the payroll build process through multiple environments Extensive understanding of UK payroll and HMRC legislation Ability to translate key business requirements into payroll build requirements Experience in delivering payroll transformation solutions within a project environment, testing, cutover, hyper care for example Ability to produce clear and concise documentation to support testing activities Critical thinker with the ability to create and adapt solutions based on changing business requirements Clear communicator and team player
