Key responsibilities:
Communicate courteously with customers providing help and advice by email, telephone and face to face.
Research products and stock providing accurate information in all communications.
Update in house systems with customer information.
Take orders from customers
Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner, picking orders when necessary.
Liaise with all other departments to ensure customer needs are met
Raise any quality control issues with Management.
Issue refunds to customers
Promote relevant services and products where applicable
Conduct pre-arranged outbound calls
Attend Trade fairs when necessary
Handle customer problems and complaints, escalating more complex issues to management
Provide general administrative support to Managers

There will be times when you may be required to undertake additional tasks, duties and responsibilities within your capabilities and may be asked to undertake an alternative job on a temporary basis. However, you will not ordinarily be assigned to duties or required to perform services which you cannot reasonably perform or are outside the range of your normal skills and experience.

Customer focused attitude with the ability to quickly build rapport with people and develop good working relationships with our customers. Professional, positive, friendly and helpful. Excellent telephone manner and communication skills. Computer literate. Enjoy working as part of a small team and assisting colleagues when required. Unflappable and able to cope in peak times. Experience of working with databases. Experience of working in a customer service environment. GCSE, or equivalent, in English and Math C or above. NVQ Customer Service or Administration.
