Our client is pleased to be recruiting for our client for a Senior Accountant to join our clients established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Birmingham.

The duties of the role will include:

• Preparing corporation and personal tax returns
• Preparing accounts
• VAT returns and general bookkeeping
• Overseeing the training of junior accountants
• Dealing with client queries

A successful candidate will have the following experiences:

• Qualified ACA or ACCA
• Experience using Sage and Iris
• Audit experience is desirable but not essential
• At least 3 years experience within a firm of accountants

The salary for this role is between £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
